Seven Months and Growing

Cannot believe you are seven months! It's amazing how fast you are growing. We are loving seeing your little personality come to life. We are completely in love with little Jack. You are getting very motivated to start moving around. You can push himself backwards and are very eager to learn how to move yourself forward. You love watching your big brother. Your favorite thing to do every day is to get into the bath. You are our little sweetheart!

Six Months and Growing

Sleep: Down for the night at 6:30 p.m. Wakes up for one feeding between 1-2:00 a.m. And usually wakes up anywhere between 7-8:00 a.m. Takes two 1 hour naps in the morning and usually naps from 1:00-4:30 p.m. (The boy LOVES his sleep)

Eat: You are loving exploring solid food. We're working our way through yellow veggies right now.

Firsts: sits without support, works to get a toy that's out of reach, looks for a dropped object, starting to figure out creeping, teething (the little guy has two bottom teeth), drinking from a cup.

Likes: solid food (can't get enough), being tickled, sitting in your high chair, putting anything and everything into your mouth, feeding yourself and getting super messy, playing peek-a-boo.

Went to Colorado for your first Christmas.

Then went to the cabin.

5 Months and Growing

Sleeps: for five to six hour stretches. Down at 6:30 p.m., wakes up for one to two feedings and is up for the day around 7-7:30 a.m.

Firsts: roll over both ways, prop himself up on knees and elbows, rice cereal, can keep interest in a toy

Likes: sucking his thumb, Christmas lights, watching Lincoln play, dancing around the living room to Christmas music, getting his diaper changed, eating his rice cereal

Dislikes: getting dried off after a bath, having a dirty diaper, when Mom holds the same note for an extended period of time while singing to him, Lincoln's screams
